The Rova

The Rova is a historic palace located in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar. The palace was originally built in the early 19th century for King Andrianampoinimerina and was expanded by his son, King Radama I, who made it his royal residence. The palace was further expanded and renovated by subsequent monarchs.
